DavutpaÅŸa Central Library, which was started to be built with the library need arising due to the growth of Yıldız Technical University DavutpaÅŸa campus, was put into service in May 2011. The library was initially named the Central Library. The name of Prof. Dr. Ä°lhan Varank, who was martyred on July 15, 2016 was decided to be given to the library with the recommendation of the Rector's Office and the decision of the ºù«Ӱҵ Senate on 09/ 02/ 2017.
